A protection screen is a partition which reduces the risk of bacterial and viral infections and unwanted contact for both driver and passengers.

The screen can be removed and easy to disinfect after each journey. Screens are made of strong clear polycarbonate which makes them durable and solid and are manufactured by OC Cars & Mobility to fit several car models.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Taxi Grant Scheme 2021

The National Transport Authority (NTA) is pleased to announce that we will be running the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) Grant Scheme again this year to support the wider availability of WAVs in Ireland’s small public service vehicle fleet.

The scheme offers financial aid of up to €7,500 nationwide for the purchase or conversion of a new WAV – and a sliding scale, with lesser monies being available for older cars. Cars older than 6 years will not qualify for this scheme. The grant scheme also offers training assistance to all successful applicants.
